Today Samsung's Seoul office announced that its recently introduced S5230 Star and S5600 Preston touchscreen equipped cell phones are now available for purchase in Asia, Europe, and some other world markets.

The Samsung S5230 Star is a non-3G cell phone that comes equipped with a 3.0-inch WQVGA touchscreen display and a 3 megapixel camera. It measures only 11.9mm thick and features Samsung's widget based TouchWiz user interface.
